Accessibility statement

• Every colour pairing in the interface — text on its background, an icon against its fill, a focus ring against every surface it can land on — is checked against WCAG’s contrast formula as part of the test suite, not eyeballed once and left.
• Status is never colour alone: a published shift, an open shift, leave and sick are each a fill, an icon and a text label together, so the information survives greyscale.
• The rota grid and the month view are fully operable from a keyboard, with a single tab stop that moves with arrow keys rather than tabbing through every cell.
• A “Skip to content” link is the first focusable thing on every page, for anyone navigating by keyboard or screen reader.
• Every icon-only control has an accessible name; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology rather than read aloud as noise.

Rotaaa is pre-beta and under active development. Newer modules (leave, time and attendance) are built to the same standard as everything above before they ship, but a feature can only be verified once it exists — see the home page for what’s live today.

If something doesn’t work with a keyboard, a screen reader, or at a larger text size, that’s a real defect and worth reporting via Contact.
